Adelaide Primary Health Network (Adelaide PHN) is seeking expressions of interest for Board Directors.
Established and predominantly funded by the Federal Government, Adelaide PHN is a not-for-profit organisation, one of 31 PHNs operating across Australia, and one of two in South Australia.
Adelaide PHN has three prime functions:
- Supporting primary care
- Commissioning primary care services
- Working with other health system partners to integrate the health system.
The Adelaide PHN Board is comprised of three Member-elected Directors and up to six Board-appointed Directors, each elected for a three-year term. As a result of this tenure process, expressions of interest are now being sought for four positions, two of whom must be General Practitioners. The Board is seeking expressions of interest from individuals with the following skills and experience:
- Primary care
- Mental health
- Information technology/digital health
- Consumer stakeholder engagement
- Executive performance management
- Board Director experience.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
The positions will attract remuneration in accord with the Director’s remuneration policy.
