Call for Expressions of Interest to Join our Board of Directors

Adelaide Primary Health Network (Adelaide PHN) is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for Board Directors.
Established and predominantly funded by the Federal Government, Adelaide PHN is a not-for-profit organisation, one of 31 PHNs operating across Australia and one of two in South Australia.
Adelaide PHN has three prime functions:
- Supporting primary care
- Commissioning primary care services
- Working with other health system partners to integrate the health system.
The Adelaide PHN Board is currently comprised of nine Directors, who are members of the organisation and are appointed for a three-year term. As a result of this tenure process, expressions of interest are now being sought for two positions, one with legal and one with financial skills and experience as follows:
- Legal - commercial background, preferably with a solid understanding of contracts, data integrity, data security, other cyber risks, and strategic risks more broadly
- Finance - financial accounting, strategic financial management including investments, CFO experience desired.
AICD qualification (GAICD) for both positions is preferred, as is a strong understanding of the Adelaide community and its health and wellbeing stakeholder landscape. It is desirable that the successful Directors will have had some experience in a commissioning environment. A preference for locally based individuals with connections or history in SA will apply.
