Invitation to an online discovery workshop - after hours primary health care


Community preferences, experience and understanding of accessing after hours primary care services are ever changing and have been significantly impacted by events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The delivery of after-hours services has also changed as digital health technologies evolve, and new models of care being implemented such as urgent care clinics. 

Adelaide PHN has partnered with Larter Consulting to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment to help determine priorities and options ahead of new activities in the after-hours space.  

Local health service providers and planners are invited to join one of our online workshops to share your perspectives and help shape PHN activities.  

You are welcome to attend any of these workshops: 

   • Wednesday 16 August, 6.30pm-7.45pm – focus on Northern Adelaide. 

   • Thursday 17 August, 6.30pm-7.45pm – focus on Central Adelaide. 

   • Thursday 24 August, 12.30pm-1.45pm – focus on high need populations including people experiencing homelessness, culturally and linguistically diverse populations, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people  

   • Thursday 24 August, 6.30pm-7.45pm – focus on Southern Adelaide.

Both private and public sector clinicians and health planners including (but not limited to) GPs, practice managers, community pharmacists, community nurses, Local Health Network representatives, Aboriginal community-controlled health services, and other community non-profits are welcome to attend.
