National Reconciliation Week Breakfast – Reconciliation SA

Adelaide PHN staff were honoured to attend and be silver sponsors of Reconciliation SA’s sold-out event, the 2024 National Reconciliation Week Breakfast on Monday, May 27th, at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
This annual event, attended by 2800 people, signifies the start of National Reconciliation Week in South Australia, bringing Australians together to delve into Aboriginal history, culture, and achievements, while exploring avenues for reconciliation in our nation.
Attendees were treated to inspiring talks from influential Aboriginal figures, including Yorta Yorta man and rapper Adam Briggs, and captivating performances by emerging talents like the Aboriginal Hip-Hop group DEM MOB.
The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2024, ‘Now More Than Ever’, serves as a poignant reminder that the ongoing fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people remains imperative.
Sponsoring this year’s breakfast aligns seamlessly with Adelaide PHN’s reconciliation vision, aiming to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with equitable access to high-quality, culturally appropriate healthcare services.
