Provider Announced for Outer South Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

Adelaide PHN is pleased to inform that Morphett Vale Family Practice has been announced as the provider of Medicare Urgent Care Clinics (UCC), and will service the southern Adelaide PHN region to June 2026:
Morphett Vale Family Practice is located at 1 Doctors Rd, Morphett Vale SA 5162, and will soon be open to the public, and begin providing ugent, but not life threatening care.
The Medicare Urgent Care Clinic provides timely care for our community in a general practice setting, for things like sprains and fractures, cuts, wounds, minor burns, infections, and illnesses like urinary tract infections (UTI) and gastroenteritis. The Medicare Urgent Care Clinics makes it easier for our community to access timely health care for urgent, but not life-threatening, conditions.
• Walk in, no appointment or referral needed
• Bulk billed, free care
• Open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 7.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 8.00am - 3.00pm
• Staffed by doctors and nurses
• Avoid waiting in a hospital emergency department.
The Medicare Urgent Care Clinic program is supported by funding from Adelaide Primary Health Network through the Australian Government’s PHN Program.
