Borderline Personality Disorder is a common mental illness. BPD can be highly distressing for the person affected and for their family and friends. Presenters Dr Rajan Nagesh and Dr Gizelle Dias will update attendees on BPD, treatment & management options and referral pathways.
Learning outcomes:
- Describe the phenomenology, prevalence, etiology, associated stigma and differential diagnosis of BPD
- Discuss management of BPD in general practice to improve patient outcomes – medical and psychological treatment
- Summarise various referral pathways and programs available for patients diagnosed with BPD
Suitable for GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists and nurses.
