This 3-hour interactive workshop will support you to better understand inclusive language, gender diversity and the challenges that LGBTIQ people overcome. Participants will cover:
- definitions and concepts behind LGBTIQ+ communities
- understanding the needs and wellbeing of LGBTIQ+ people
- issues that arise when these needs are not met

examples of inclusive practice in healthcare. This interactive workshop is suitable for nurses, midwives, allied health professionals and administrative staff working in a healthcare setting.
