In this interactive education session with Dr Chris Holmwood of DASSA, learn how to assess and manage patients with substance use disorders, when and how to escalate care and the skills underlying motivational interviewing. Attendees will also gain a greater understanding of the psychological conditions which can lead to substance use disorders. Sonder’s In-Home Withdrawal Service team will provide an update on available services in the region and referral pathways.
Suitable for GPs, registrars, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and pharmacists.
