Southern Wellbeing Hub - Neami


Free, welcoming mental health service: Individual Psychological Therapy for moderate, complex or severe mental illness ( 10 sessions); Low Intensity individual (3-6 sessions) and group therapies; Suicide Prevention Service; Psychological Therapies for Families and Children up to 11 yrs; Clinical Care Coordination including metabolic checks; Perinatal Program; Mothers and Infants dialectical behavioural therapy groups and other DBT groups; Psychiatric assessments; and longer term individual therapy for people experiencing mod to severe mental illness with complex needs.

Referral Information

  • The Neami Southern Hub mental health services are for individuals 16 years and over and children and families on low incomes, needing different levels of intensity, and lengths of time of mental health support.
  • Referral is via General Practitioners and via self referral generally through the National Head to Health Phone and Digital Intake Service (HtH PDIS). A walk in component will be part of the service, and self referral may be either via telephone on (08) 8326 3591 or via email linkstowellbeing@neaminational.org.au.
  • The Southern Wellbeing Hub – Neami is open from 8:30 to 5pm, Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and from 8:30am to 8pm Wednesdays and Thursdays, and every other Saturday morning from 9am to 1pm.
  • At specific times the Hub will open for walk ins, and peer workers will be available to provide information and brief support in a supportive, warm and welcoming environment
