STTARS mental health service for adults from culturally and linguistically diverse communities


A program to improve the mental health of adults from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Bi-lingual peer support workers will help build individual capacity through providing mental health information and support to navigate and access appropriate mental health services in the community. Culturally sensitive low intensity therapy for individuals and groups and clinical care coordination is available for eligible clients. 

Referral Information

  • The STTARS mental health service for CALD communities is available for adults (18+) from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • It is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.  
  • The program accepts referrals from community services and health professionals and also self-referrals. To make a referral contact the STTARS office by telephoning (08) 8206 8900 or emailing enquiries@sttars.org.au  
  • Call the Head to Health Phone Line on 1800 595 212 from Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00pm
