Incentive Payments for Vaccines Notified to AIR for MenB Program


A new funding incentive from SA Health will support eligible general practices to deliver Bexsero vaccines as part of the South Australian Meningococcal B (MenB) Childhood Catch-up Program.

Following the July announcement of Australia’s first funded MenB immunisation program in South Australia, this incentive will support the provision of the MenB childhood catch-up program for children aged 12 months to less than 4 years as at 1 October 2018. 

Through administrative support from Adelaide Primary Health Network (PHN) and Country SA PHN, the incentive payment of $1.60 (excl GST) per vaccination notified to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) during the period 1 October 2018 to 31 December 2019 will be provided to eligible general practices.
